The album is a sampler of carefully selected sound sources from the archives of Neil Young. Of course, Neil Young himself supervised this release! Neil Young is a legend in the rock scene. Not only has he released new albums that compile the words he wants to convey to the world today, but he has also continued to release unreleased sound sources and a series of rare live archives, and he is a legend who never stops transmitting his songs and words. The "Neil Young Archive" series is a grand series that unravels his precious sound sources in chronological order, as he continues to release a vast number of works.In 2009, he released the first volume, "NEIL YOUNG ARCHIVES VOL. I (1963-1972)" (which sold out soon after its release, so only the 8-CD box set was reissued in 2023, more than 10 years after its release), and in 2021, the second volume In 2021, he released the second 10-CD set "NEIL YOUNG ARCHIVES VOL. II (1972-1976)", and now he presents the latest in the series, "NEIL YOUNG ARCHIVES VOL. III (1976-1987)", which contains 121 tracks of previously unreleased live and studio recordings and mixes. The box set "NEIL YOUNG ARCHIVES VOL. III" contains a total of 198 tracks on 17 CDs, including live, studio, mixed and edited recordings, 15 previously unreleased tracks, and 62 tracks that have been delivered to fans through various productions.
