This is a 1966 album by Duane Eddy, the original guitar hero who created an era in the late 50s and early 60s with his unique echo-flecked reverb twangy guitar. The album includes the original song "This Guitar Was Made For Twangin" as well as covers of a wide variety of pop and rock hits and standards from the era. The majority of the songs on the album, except for Duane's guitar, which is full of revue, are soft sounds with a 60s pop/soft rock/sunshine pop atmosphere produced by Lee Hazelwood.
