Gloria Estefan's first new album in seven years, "BRAZIL305", features new songs as well as newly recorded hits from the past with Brazilian musicians. Gloria Estefan was born in Cuba in 1957, moved to Miami with her family in 1960, and joined a band led by her future husband, Emilio Estefan, in 1975. The band later changed its name to "Miami Sound Machine" and had a string of hits including "Conga" (#10 in the US), "Words Get in the Way" (#5 in the US), "Anything for You" (#1 in the US), "1-2-3" (#3 in the US), and "Get You in Rhythm" (#5 in the US). In the 90's, after starting his solo career, he continued to dominate the hit charts in the 80's and 90's with hits such as "Don't Wanna Loose You" (No.1 in the U.S.). All songs were recorded in Brazil with local musicians.The album includes new songs "Cuando hay amor," "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You," "Get On Your Feet," "Don't Wanna Lose You," and other hits from Gloria's past, all newly arranged in sessions with Brazilian musicians.
