Bob Dylan, the God of Rock 'n' Roll, will turn 75 on May 24, 2016. This timely release, "Fallen Angels," features 12 classic American songs written by some of the most celebrated and influential songwriters in the music world. Produced by Jack Frost (aka Dylan), the album is Bob Dylan's 37th studio effort and the follow-up to his new album, Shadows in the Night, which was released in January 2015. For Fallen Angels, Dylan chose songs from a wide range of songwriters, including Johnny Mercer, Harold Arlen, Sammy Cahn, and Carolyn Lee, to record with his touring band. The album was recorded in 2015 at Capitol Studios in Hollywood. The album's song "Melancholy Mood" was Sinatra's first single, recorded by Frank Sinatra with the Harry James Band in 1939.
