Vince Galardi, best known for his music for the "Snoopy's Merry Christmas" OST, has released another classic album, "Jazz Impressions of Black Orpheus," in a deluxe edition. Including the Grammy Award-winning "Cast Your Fate to the Wind" (#22 on the U.S. charts), the Vince Galardi Trio's groundbreaking 1962 classic includes 16 additional bonus tracks, including 12 previously unreleased tracks. Recorded at Plangent Processes and remastered by Paul Blakemore. Detailed new liner notes by jazz writer Andrew Gilbert (San Francisco Chronicle, San Jose Mercury News, KQED Arts) are enclosed.
