Produced by Rick Rubin, founder of Def Jam and master of many of the biggest hit albums of all time, from the Beastie Boys and Red Hot Chili Peppers to Adele and Johnny Cash. Inspired by the sounds and rhythms of Africa, this is Santana's most ambitious attempt yet at what is sure to be a powerful and unforgettable experience for all who hear it. It is a selection of 49 songs (many of them one-shot recordings) recorded in just 10 days.Another dramatic element on the album is the inclusion of Buika, a Latin Grammy Award-winning singer from Majorca, Spain. She has that greatness about her, like Nina Simone, Etta James, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, and so many other great artists all rolled into one," says Santana. Santana said.
