The return of the gem Kirill Karabits! Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 2! Kirill Karabits, who has made the leap from up-and-coming young conductor to the next great conductor with the success of "Khachaturian (ONYX 4063)" with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, continues his recording project with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, of which he has been the Chief Conductor since 2008. The second recording project with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra is a Russian program of Tchaikovsky and Mussorgsky, continuing from the previous recording! In Tchaikovsky, Karabits has dared to choose "Symphony No. 2 'Little Russia (Ukraine)'" instead of the "Late Three Symphonies". For Karabits, a native of Kiev, Ukraine, Tchaikovsky's masterpiece, which uses folk songs of his homeland, is probably one of his "most burning" works. Karabits's Tchaikovsky and Mussorgsky are his best work to date. We look forward to a performance that surpasses Khachaturian's previous work. Tokyo M-Plus
