Carilion Woodwind Quintet's long time recording for ODRADEK The world premiere recording of "Man without a Country" by Latvian composer Renate Stivrina (1985-), who has received a lot of attention recently, is interesting. The quintet also performs Nielsen's famous woodwind quintet and Mozart's Divertimento No. 1 with great precision. The Carillion Woodwind Quintet was formed in 2002. The quintet features Hungarian flutist Dora Sherez (she won the second prize at the 5th Kobe International Flute Competition in 2001), Egils Upatnieks, principal oboe of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, Latvian clarinetist Egils Sjöfels, Danish National Symphony Orchestra, David M.A.P. Palmqvist, solo hornist of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, and Danish bassoonist Nils Anas Vesten Larsen.
