A little-known French Baroque traverso album unearthed by Wilbert Hartzelzet, the great Dutch master of flauto-traverso. Louis-Antoine Dornel (c.1685-c.1765) was a composer, organist, and violinist active from the end of Louis XIV to the reign of Louis XV, who published several collections of symphonies, traverso suites, and trio sonatas in the early 18th century. This is a collection of suites for traverso selected from these collections. The ensemble is composed of such virtuosos as Jaap ter Linden and Jacques Ochs. Tokyo M-Plus
