This is the second album by Sabine Devielle, who suddenly became one of France's top sopranos with her 2013 debut disc Rameau: Theatre of Love (9999.341492). Despite having just graduated at the top of her class from the Conservatoire de Paris in 2011, she has made a splash by appearing in numerous operas while still a student. She was awarded the 2013 Victoire de la Musique, France's Grammy Award, and the Diapason d'Or, and is now in great demand at various opera houses. In this new album, she performs a program of songs associated with the Weber sisters, who were romantically involved with Mozart.
