A fusion of Baroque style and Irish culture! Linda O'Connor, who teaches violin at the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM), makes her debut recording of McDonough's The Irish Four Seasons. The world's first digital recording of "The Irish Four Seasons" by Irish composer-cellist Alba McDonagh, who is also her "musical soulmate," will be combined with Vivaldi's masterpiece "The Four Seasons" and released to the world. The Irish Four Seasons, premiered by Linda O'Connor in 2022, is a masterful fusion of Baroque style and Irish culture. The introduction of new Irish melodies inspired by Vivaldi's striking melodies creates exciting and moving music that rivals the timeless masterpieces of the Baroque. The small orchestra, Anamus, is an ensemble formed by Linda O'Connor for this album. It is conducted by Irish conductor David Brophy, who also served as principal conductor of the RTE Concert Orchestra. Tokyo M-Plus
