The greatest bel canto tenor of our time, Juan Diego Flores, will perform Mozart opera arias live at the Teatro Cuvillier! Juan Diego Flores, "the best bel canto tenor of our time", made his sensational debut at the Rossini Festival in Pesaro in 1996 and has since gone on to become one of the greatest Rossini tenors of all time. In 2017, he recorded a collection of Mozart opera arias in full. This video was subsequently filmed live at the beautiful rococo Teatro Cuvillier Munich, where Flores was first captivated by Mozart's work at the age of 18 when she joined the chorus of The Magic Flute. The program includes arias from seven operas and concert arias from Mozart's early operas, from the pastoral and beautiful "The King of the Pastors" to the Zingspiel masterpiece "The Magic Flute" in his final years. This diverse program will feature Mozart's universal art. The orchestra is the Orchestre La Scintilla, led by Riccardo Minaj, one of today's most popular classical violinists and conductors.
