Dock In Absolute, a young piano trio from Luxembourg and Belgium, presents their second CAM JAZZ release! The previous release was part of a series showcasing young talent. They have performed at jazz festivals around the world and have also visited Japan, playing at the Yokohama Jazz Promenade in 2016 and Tokyo Jazz in 2017, where they were well received. As on their previous albums, most of the music was composed by Jean-Philippe Koch on piano. All the pieces are still lyrical and dramatic, but with more variations, such as rhythmic chimes and altered time signatures, and a wider range of expression, such as bass tones and drum effects. The combination of weeping melodies and nostalgic harmonies will resonate not only with jazz fans but also with fans of video game music, etc. Recorded and mixed at ECM's third studio, Artesono, by the golden duo of Stefano Amelio for recording and mixing and Danilo Rossi for mastering, the album was produced by the same studio. The album was recorded and mixed by Stefano Amelio and mastered by Danilo Rossi.
