Beethoven's Late Three Sonatas by Jin Jiyu recorded on MDG's 1901 Steinway, which has won prizes at prestigious competitions around the world, including the Tchaikovsky International and the Queen Elisabeth International, and has recorded five discs as the exclusive pianist for the MDG label since 2010. Jin Ziyu's new series features Beethoven's piano sonatas. In the first volume, he suddenly took on the three late sonatas. The three sonatas of the late period are highly musical and isolated from the works of the early and middle periods, and are works that test a performer's compositional skills, but Jin Jiyu's deep insight and matured musicality expresses them beautifully.
