Description:
March 15, 2007 at the IPAYONE CENTER in San Diego, the best stage of the "legendary" Clapton tour of the 21st century was released on live CD and analog LP record in September last year. Following the release of the live CD and analog vinyl record, the video version is now available on DVD! The 2006/2007 world tour with young and talented guitarists DEREK TRUCKS and DOYLE BRAMHALL II is very popular among fans, and "LIVE IN SAN DIEGO (WITH SPECIAL GUEST J.J. CALE)" was recorded live as part of the tour. The highlight of the two-hour show was the appearance of the great J.J. Cale! The highlight of the two-hour show was the appearance of the great JJ Cale, who appeared as a special guest and performed five songs with Clapton, including "After Midnight" and "Cocaine". Robert Cray also participated on "CROSSROADS," the last song on the album. In addition, only the video work includes extra footage! It includes rare footage of Clapton and J.J. Cale rehearsing two songs, "ANYWAY THE WIND BLOWS" and "WHO AM I TELLING YOU? This is a joy even if you are not a fan of the band. Prior to this tour, Clapton released a collaboration album with J.J. Cale, "The Road to Escondido," in 2006. The "guitar god" said at the time about his collaboration with the "legendary guitarist" whom he had always admired: "I've been working with the man who created the music that has inspired me for as long as I can remember, and I'm very proud to be a part of it. A year after the release of the album, the two musicians would perform together again in this special show. The set list for this show featured many of Clapton's best-known songs and hits from his all-time career. The songs include some from the Derek & the Dominos era, such as "Cousin Leila," and it is a crying shame that Derek Trucks plays many of the guitar parts that used to be played by Duane Allman. This DVD can be viewed on most domestic DVD players. 【ミュージシャン・クレジット】 J.J.
