Description:
Another superhuman who arranged "24 Caprices" for the flute and played it! Paganini's "24 Caprices", a well-known difficulty for violin, can be played by a single flute. Italian flutist Roberto Pasquini arranged the piece himself. Paganini's "24 Caprices" is one of the most difficult pieces for solo violin. There have been several flutists who have managed to play this piece on a single flute, but now another superstar has risen to the challenge of this seemingly reckless feat. Italian flutist Roberto Pasquini, a graduate of the Francesco Morlacchi Conservatory in Perugia, has established himself in the most important Italian orchestras and theaters, and from 1995 to 2000 was the first flutist of the Lazio State Orchestra. He is also active in education, founding the Arezzo Youth Orchestra, and is a professor at the Gioacchino Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro. With his vast repertoire, Pasquini has arranged his own "24 Caprices" in the spirit of Paganini. The superb technique and variety of musicality are brilliant. (Tokyo M-Plus) Included in the program Paganini: 24 Caprices, Op.1 (arranged by Roberto Pasquini, unaccompanied flute version) Performer Roberto Pasquini (Flute) *Recording: April 7-12, 2023 (Montepulciano, Italy)
