As the title of the album and the project suggests, "In Polish Style," the program brings together European works from the Baroque period that were influenced by Polonaise and other Polish musical forms, and once again shows the world the extent of their presence. By combining works by Polish composers Mierzewski and Jajempski with those of Italian composers Merula and Picchi and German composers Telemann, the program shows how transversal Polish musical forms were in the European repertoire of the time. Ensemble Giardino di Delizie is a Roman period ensemble founded in 2014 and composed entirely of female players. In collaboration with Polish cultural centers around the country, the ensemble presents a series of programs and projects with relevance to Poland. Tokyo M-Plus
