LUDERE, a quartet formed by Philip Baden-Powell and some of Sao Paulo's leading jazz musicians of today, has released a new album on FAR OUT. The theme of this album is the unreleased songs of Baden-Powell, Philip's father and a great representative of Brazilian music. 7 out of 9 songs are by guitarist Thiago Caheli and other famous singers and instrumentalists who represent contemporary Brazil, and the album is an ambitious work that revives the unknown songs left by Baden-Powell. The album is a collection of songs by Barden's greatest female singers in Sao Paulo. Starting with "Vai Coracao" featuring Vanessa Moreno, the best female singer in São Paulo, the spacy electric jazz funk "Afrosambagroove" reminiscent of Azimuth, and "A Lua Nao Me Deixa," and "Choro Para Estudo," which features one of the best harmonica players of our time, Gabriel Grossi, as a guest.The diverse drumming of Daniel de Paula is a particular highlight of this album, which has the traditions of Brazilian music with a modern sensibility.
