A cross-generational collaboration between 92-year-old Sheila Jordan, a living legend of jazz vocals who was called "the singer with the million-dollar ear" by Charlie Parker, and three young elite members of the New York scene. Sheila Jordan, a living legend who has remained at the forefront of jazz, including being married to Duke Jordan, and a teacher of Charlie Parker, and a young trio trio, have collaborated across generations. Sheila Jordan may be 92 years old, but she shows no signs of slowing down, and she brings her intense creativity and energy to the entire album, as well as the three young up-and-coming instrumentalists of the New York scene. Sheila herself wrote the lyrics and music for the opening and latter songs. The former, in particular, expresses the utmost respect and affection for Byrd-Charlie Parker, and is a song that overflows with warmth.
