On the other hand, he also played at the ONCE Festi val, one of the most extraordinary adventures in American music history, held from 1961-65, and in 1964, he performed with Eric Dolphy. He is also known as the composer of "A Personal Statement," a contemporary composition that is still considered cutting-edge, and released "Explosions" on ESP.
