It was recorded in September 1982 in his first loft in the upscale DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, and was recently unearthed. The current work is based on a piano piece he composed in high school, and was done on the piano of his downstairs neighbor, John Epperson, who would later become known as drag artist Lypsinka. The sound quality is poor because it was recorded on a small portable (probably Radio Shack) cassette deck placed on top of the piano, but it was recorded using the John Giorno/William Burroughs cut-up technique, a Flippertronics loop and feedback loop The arrangements are varied, including the use of a tape delay system.
