Into The Blue" was born out of a broken heart. After ending a long relationship, Frazer moved from Brooklyn to Los Angeles and embarked on a journey reflected in the album's themes of grief, loneliness, and the search for healing. He recruited Grammy Award-winner Alex Goose (known for his collaborations with hip-hop artists such as Freddie Gibbs, Madlib, and Brockhampton) to co-produce the album; the '90s R&B group Hi-Five The group collected samples from unexpected sources such as the 90's R&B group Hi-Five and experimented for the first time on record to complete the work.
