Four Files Records, a hot label that has released reissues of Italian movie soundtracks, DJ-use 7inch records, and new releases by current artists, has released a compilation of Italian Afrofunk music. The sound sources included in this compilation are all from the same source. The recordings on this compilation were released in Italy between 1973 and 1978, and are a wonderful crossover of Afrofunk's danceable rhythms and the romantic melodies unique to Italian music. Recommended for rare groove fans and collectors of obscure music such as frontier psychedelic.
