Cool Original, a bedroom pop musician from Portland who also previously worked under the name Cool American, released his album INFINITE HIATUS in 2017. At the time, he had a rustic indie guitar home recording style, but under this Corona craze, he rapidly expanded his digital recording equipment and quickly upgraded his sound! The original sense of composition was coated with ambient/mellow textures and further chopped and screwed to create a new generation Twilight mellow sound. Synth-pop, psychedelic, and low-beat meld together to create a high standard that could easily stand alongside the likes of Toro y More and Anderson Park. This is a talent that home recording poppers will want to remember by name.
