The first solo album by master horror filmmaker John Carpenter! John Carpenter is known for directing, writing, and composing the music for the splatter horror film "Halloween," which was released in 974. He has produced nearly 30 films and not only directed but also created his own music for use in films. "Halloween Theme" from "Halloween" and the main title of "New York 1997" are well known as masterpieces of horror and science fiction film music. He also formed a band with other fellow directors for "Ghost Hunters" and sang the theme song as well as his own vocals. In the past, John has said in interviews about his multi-talented career, "In Germany, I am called a filmmaker, and in England, a genre director. In America? Garbage! In the U.S.? About this film, he says, "No pressure, no actors asking me questions. There are no crews waiting, no editing rooms to go to, no limits.Everything about making Lost Themes was fun." The work was so free in its creation that he says, "I enjoyed every aspect of making the Lost theme.
