Spanish pianist/composer/producer Moises P. Sanchez releases the sequel to his 2010 release "Dedication". Moises P. Sanchez made his debut in 2007 with the album "Adam the Carpenter," and has produced a wide variety of music in his lifetime, including symphonic progressive music popular in the 1970s, as well as classical and contemporary music. In recent years, he has also reinterpreted Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring" and composed a symphony based on the myth of Electra for the Spanish National Ballet; in 2017, "Metamorfosis" won Spain's Best Jazz Album of the Year Award; in 2020, he received two Grammy Awards; and in 2011, he was named the "Best Jazz Album of the Year" in Spain. He has also worked with Shakira, Pitbull, and others, straddling genres. The previous album "Dedication", released with the same members, was reminiscent of the music of Chick Corea, as Moises P. Sanchez has openly stated as an influence, and this album is just an extension of the same, The mood of this album is similar to that of Return to Forever, Weather Report, and the Mahavishnu Orchestra, when fusion music was still called jazz-rock. On the other hand, the title track and the mystical atmosphere of "Melancolía" allow the listener to indulge in the ennui of the vocals, and this album covers a lot of musical landscapes in its nine tracks and 73 minutes long.
