The Brussels Philharmonic (formerly the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio Flanders), a prestigious orchestra in Belgium that has attracted attention for its involvement in the soundtrack of the movie "The Artist," has released a remarkable new album on its own label, BPR! Following Debussy (BPR001) and Dvorak (BPR002), this is the third release of the Tchaikovsky program! The selection of symphonic works combined with small pieces remains unchanged, with Symphony No. 6 "Pathetique" and "Romeo and Juliet" included on this album. Both pieces are masterpieces among Tchaikovsky's many works. The Brussels Philharmonic's performance is a must-see disc that combines the soft sound of the French style with a powerful and romantic sound. The recording was again made in Studio 4! The meticulous ensemble built in the acoustic environment, which is reputed to be the best in Europe, is a must-hear. The Brussels Philharmonic (formerly the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio Flanders) is a prestigious orchestra founded in 1935. From the 2008-2009 series, the orchestra has welcomed Swiss virtuoso Tabashnik as its musical director, and is attracting more and more attention for its ambitious performance programs that include contemporary music!
