Jan Michiels, a talented Belgian pianist and winner of the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition in Brussels in 1991, has taken his imagination further and created an elaborate program that combines the musically closely related Debussy Preludes with a mixture of Ligeti and Kurtág.
