The result is a record that incorporates a productive second chapter by one of the most influential groups in the UK. Their swirl of melody, feedback, and controlled chaos was made clearer by their love of Suicide and Kraftwerk and the free style found in jazz. "But don't expect 'Mary Chain to be jazzed up,' " he said. People should expect The Jesus and Mary Chain record, and 'Glasgow Eyes' is certainly that.Our creative approach is remarkably the same as it was in 1984. We go into the studio with a bunch of songs and let things happen. There are no rules, we do whatever we need to do. And there is telepathy. We're like weird twins who complete each other's sentences," says Jim Reid.
