Moonchild (Amber Navran, Andris Mattson, Max Bryk), who have been enchanting jazz, R&B, and neo-soul fans with their sweet, soothing melodies and captivating performances that look back on the past, have released their EP "Reflections" on Tru Thoughts, following their previous Grammy-nominated album "Starfruit"! Inspired by their legendary Tiny Desk Performance, "Reflections" is a reworking of old Moonchild songs and a collection of new songs that will be released on Tru Thoughts,The project is a re-worked project and includes six songs, including acoustic versions of their hit singles "The List" and "Cure" and a new remake of their 2012 debut "Back To Me". This is a must-have for fans of the band, as it shows how they have refined their sound with each release over the past decade, keeping the same jazz-infused soul and groovy production! Navran, the band's singer, producer, and woodwind player, says, "We really liked the combination of the acoustic setup and the horn arrangements we were playing live.Arranging songs for live performances is a lot of fun, so I was happy to be able to capture it on record for this project!
