Oasis legend Liam Gallagher has teamed up with John Squire, one of the most influential guitarists and songwriters of his generation, to launch a new project. Earlier this year, the two released their first collaborative single, "Just Another Rainbow," to the delight of UK rock fans everywhere, but that was only the beginning of a new chapter. Following the single, the band announced the release of a full-length album, as well as a UK tour and live shows throughout Europe and the US! The long-awaited album, "LIAM GALLAGHER & JOHN SQUIRE.Both have been friends and longtime friends of the Manchester scene since the 90's, and have a mutual respect for each other, but the catalyst for this collaboration was John Squire's participation in Liam Gallagher's 2022 live show at the Nebworth, which made a big splash and was later released as a documentary film and live album. The collaboration began when John Squire participated in Liam Gallagher's 2022 live performance at the Nevworth. From there, the two began writing songs, and with intuitive enthusiasm, they produced the album in Los Angeles with an overflow of ideas in their hands. Entering the studio with them were Greg Kirstein, producer of Liam's solo albums and bassist on the album, and Joey Waronker on drums. The first single from the 10-song self-titled album that emerged from this process is "Just Another Rainbow.The song is filled with John's unforgettable psychedelic lead guitar and Liam Gallagher's vocals, which are filled with passion, personality, and strong conviction that no one but Liam Gallagher can bring to the table. Liam Gallagher's charisma amplifies the tension of "Love Spreads" with layers upon layers of guitar, creating the 1+1=∞ chemistry that all fans of the two have come to expect. (1/2)
