Peter Gabriel, who contributed greatly to Genesis' reign as a top progressive rock band as the front man of Genesis, left Genesis in 1975 and resumed his career as a solo artist in 1977. He has established himself as a top rock artist with each album he releases. Peter Gabriel released his second album "II" in June 1978 and toured Europe and North America on "The Scratch Tour". This is a remastered version of the original recording made for the popular American radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour," and no live album from this period has ever been released. The album also features two guest appearances by King Crimson's Robert Fripp, who was living in New York at the time and produced "II," as well as an encore performance of Genesis' "The Rams Rise Down On Broadway.
