Herbie Hancock and tenor and soprano saxophonist Wayne Shorter, who were members of Miles Davis' second golden quintet in the late 1960s, bassist Marcus Miller, who produced "Tutu" and other albums since Miles' return in 1980, trumpeter Sean Jones on bass, Sean Rickman on drums, and Sean Rickman on drums, recorded the French leg of the 2011 European tour in tribute to Miles Davis in July. The album features a variety of arrangements of Miles Davis' most famous songs such as "In A Silent Way," "Directions," and "All Blues" with improvisation by the ultra-technical members of the band.
