Jeff Beck was looking for a new direction for the band, but a car accident forced him to take some time off. In late 1970, he restarted the band with four new members. The new album, "Rough And Ready," which incorporated elements of jazz and R&B, was different from the blues-based music of the past, but was well received in the American market. The new Jeff Beck Group performed at a rock festival in Turku, Finland, on August 22, 1971, one of only ten concerts that accompanied the release of "Rough And Ready" in 1971. This performance was recorded and broadcast by a Finnish FM station, and this live album is based on the material used for the broadcast. At this point, the second Jeff Beck Group's debut album "Rough And Ready" had not been released, and this was only the band's second live performance, but the high quality of the energetic performance is overwhelming.Includes 4 additional bonus tracks from a live studio performance for BBC Radio's "In Concert" program on December 14, 1971, featuring new material!
