The Present" was a hit, reaching No. 26 on the U.S. album chart, though not as big as its predecessor. The band then embarked on "The Present Tour" in North America. The final concert of the tour, held on December 3 in Inglewood, Los Angeles, was recorded and broadcast for the popular American music program "King Biscuit Flower Hour. This album is released using the broadcasted material.The concert, which included two sets and an encore, was a live performance consisting of songs from their first two albums with Patrick Moraz and their best songs to date, making this a truly "best of" live album at this point in their career.
