Description:

Duran Duran is at the forefront of the "British Invasion" music movement that swept the world in the early 1980s. With their model-like looks and catchy melodies, their singles and albums were mega hits not only in their home country of the UK, but also in the US, Japan, and Asia, and their massive world tours were well received. The band's live archives from three different periods of their career are now available on CD! In February 1989, they performed in Japan for the fourth time. The February 22 performance at Tokyo Dome was recorded and broadcast as a special program on an FM radio station. This release is based on the sound recordings used for the broadcast. Although the band is down to three members at this point, Warren Kukullo from the Frank Zappa Band and talented session musician Sterling Campbell will join the band as guest players to recreate the sound of the album more perfectly. This is a CD release of a rare archive of the band's performances in Japan! Simon Le Bon(vo) Nick Rose(kbds) John Taylor(b) Warren Kukullo(g) Stan Harrison(sax) Spike Edney(kbds) Melanie Redmond(cho) Jackie Copeland(cho) Land(cho) Starlin Campbell(ds) Tetsuya Komuro(kbds) Steve Ferrone(ds)
