Halloween is the third generation of the German heavy metal scene, which has been gaining attention thanks to the worldwide success of Scorpions and Accept. The twin lead guitars, dramatic song development, and Michael Kiske's high tone vocals, reminiscent of Iron Maiden, on the 1987 album "Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part 1," the album that marked the band's rise to fame, have gained a strong following in Europe and Japan. The band gained a strong following in Europe and Japan, and used this momentum to expand into the U.K. and the U.S. The follow-up, "Keeper Of The Seven Keys Part 2," was more accomplished and propelled the German metal movement into the global arena. The "Pumpkin Fly Free Tour" featuring these two albums was held in Europe in 1988. The October 29 concert in Switzerland was recorded and broadcast for a radio program as a promotional event. This release is based on the audio tape of the radio broadcast.The setlist of the day was 15 songs including encores, but the first two songs were cut due to the opening MC for the radio program. However, this live album provides a complete picture of the concert at that time. Halloween's unique melodic power metal sound was in full bloom, and the band gave a full live performance.
