After the departure of the third vocalist/Ian Gillan, the band's activities stagnated due to the lack of a vocalist, Tony Iommi joined Tony Martin and Cozy Powell to return to the sound concept of Ronnie James Dio's time with the band, and the album was highly acclaimed. The band's lineup was solidified with the release of "Headless Cross" in 1989, which also featured Neil Murray. During their first world tour in many years, the September 24 concert in Austria was recorded and broadcast as a promotional radio recording. This audio master is used for the album release. The new songs as well as the past masterpieces are newly breathed into the live sound of Tony Iommi's ideal band, as they have been solidified as a band for a long time.
