Since 1987, Eric Clapton has held his annual concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The annual concert at this hall, which takes place from February to March each year, was highly acclaimed in 1990 when three different performances were given, and in 1991 it will be titled "24 Nights," with four different performances given from February 5 to March 9. The concert was recorded for release as a CD/video as well as for TV/radio broadcast. Later, a broadcast and CD/video consisting of the best of the four different performances will be released. However, as in the previous year, only the second week's concert of blues music will be broadcast by the BBC in a version similar to the full version. The audio masters from this broadcast have now been discovered and remastered for release in the best possible sound quality. The performance was recorded and broadcast on February 25, 1991, the third day of Blues Music Night.The setlist for the day was 22 songs, including encores, so this live album consists of 19 songs (excluding 3 songs), which is almost the entire concert of the day. Eric Clapton, along with four guitarists representing the blues music scene at this point in time - Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, Albert Collins, and Jimmy Vaughan - performed with four different personalities, all with respect for his own musical roots in blues music.
