The first album was more blue eyed soul and the second one was more 80's sounding, but this time he presents his most direct AOR sound to date! The melting mellowness of "Fair-Wearther Friend" and "Where We Go Tonight", the lighthearted "Osaka Moon" inspired by the streets of Osaka, which the band visited during their visit to Japan, the hard-boiled "Keeping Up Your Guard", and the "Soul" of Bill LaBounty's "The Soul". The hard-boiled "Keeping Up Your Guard" and the Bill LaBounty cover of "Trail To Your Heart" are all stylishly grainy. A must-listen for the current AOR scene!
