Medline, a producer/composer/multi-instrumentalist from the south of Paris, France, has collaborated with graphic artist Stephane Carricondo to release a supreme work of music + art on CD in Japan only! The project began when painter and art director Stephane Carricondo offered his old friend Medline to create a soundtrack based on the portraits of hip-hop legends that he has been painting since 2017. The project was launched after the artist offered to create a soundtrack based on the portraits of hip-hop legends painted since 2017.The album is a band cover of A Tribe Called Quest's classic songs, and is based on the classic hip-hop albums "The Low End Theory" (2nd album) and "Midnight Marauders" (3rd album), as well as "Scenario", "Jazz", "Electric Relaxation", "Award Tour", and "Beats, Jazz" from the 4th album, "Midnight Marauders". The album features "Scenario," "Jazz," "Electric Relaxation," "Award Tour," "Keeping It Moving" from the fourth album "Beats, Rhymes And Life," and the popular song "The Love Movement" from the fifth album "The Love Movement," as well as "Jazz," "Electric Relaxation," and "Award Tour," all from the second album "The Low End Theory" and the third "Midnight Marauders," which is the gold standard of hip-hop classics. The CD also features cover versions of many classic songs, including "Keeping It Moving" from their 4th album "Beats, Rhymes And Life", and the popular "Find A Way" from their 5th album "The Love Movement". In addition, a bonus track, "Steve Biko "Remue Le,"" a tribute to "Steve Biko (Stir It Up)" from "Midnight Marauders," has been added to this CD edition for a total of nine tracks. It is a jazzy instrumental masterpiece for adults with a French flair.
