Silvia Machete Machete is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and performer. After being born in Rio de Janeiro, she worked as a circus and street performer in France and the United States. Upon returning to Brazil, she began her career as a skilled performance musician and has performed with some of the country's leading musicians, including Erasmo Carlos and Ildon. Her last album, "Rhonda" (20202020), was a quantum leap in her career.Rhonda" featured up-and-coming Brazilian musicians to Jason Lindner, who worked on David Bowie's "★" (20162016), original songs with English lyrics, and even "With No One Else Around," an English-language song written by Chin Maier, Her long-awaited new album, Invisible Woman, to be released in 2024, is a sequel to Rhonda. The album was produced by Alberto Continentino, who has produced several high-profile albums, including Ana Frango Eletrico's "Me Chama de Gato que Eu Sou Sua" (20232023), and was written entirely in English, as was the case with the previous album. The album is produced entirely in English, as on the previous album, and features the same solid talent as a singer/songwriter, and a nostalgic sound with the use of Wurlitzer and Mellotron, which is sometimes mellow and sometimes danceable.In particular, the flow from the title track "Invisible Woman" to the cover of Antonio Carlos Jobim's "Two Kites" is truly brilliant.
