Fragment", the lead album by John Taylor, a pianist who is regarded as one of the greatest treasures of UK jazz, was released only on cassette tape in 1975. When it was later released on limited edition CD in 2022, it was immediately sold out, and the long-awaited reissue of this popular work on CD is now available! The original cassette tape release is a highlight of John Taylor's performances with Kenny Wheeler and other elite musicians with whom he has worked since his debut "Pause, And Think Again," and a document of the best moments of 1970s British jazz. It is a document of the best moments of 1970s British jazz. The ensemble-oriented performances and arrangements are unique among the jazz-rock and free jazz of the same era, sounding as massive as an orchestra.
