Description:

Guitar Muse Rei The second chapter of Rei's career begins with this mini-album that focuses entirely on guitar playing, paired with her previous album "VOICE". Rei is a singer/songwriter/guitarist who formed an artist partnership with the world-renowned musical instrument manufacturer Fender last June, and has collaborated with world-renowned guitarists such as Nile Rodgers as an ambassador for Japan. Her previous album, "Voice" (UCCJ-9247, UCCJ-2231), was a song-themed work, but this time around, Rei brings her signature "guitar" to the forefront, exposing all of her knowledge of jazz, blues, and rock music in a work that fans have been waiting for. The title "XINGS" means "crossroads" or "intersection" in the American road sign language, and it expresses the fact that the album was created through various points of contact with various people and things, such as the intersection of Rei and her guitar, and the intersection of Rei and her audience. The album also includes a collaboration with MONJOE, who is known as a track maker and has provided songs to numerous artists. Other strong musicians such as BOBO and Ichiro Yoshida are also supporting the project. The Limited Edition includes footage from the "Rei Spring Tour 2023 "versus DRUMMER" TOUR FINAL," a showdown with three drummers (Daichi Ito, Miyoko Yamaguchi, and BOBO) held last June. The show sold out early and is now available on video, much anticipated by fans.
