Japan-only CD release! This new album "Mickey Punk" features newly recorded punk rock covers of all the classic Disney songs by famous rock/alterna/pop punk bands as well as fresh, up-and-coming artists. The album features a variety of artists who have come together to create a punk-rock arrangement of Disney's classic songs, which have a nostalgic and energetic feel to them. The Canadian band Simple Plan, which is also extremely popular in Japan, performed a cover of "Feel the Love" from the Disney animated film "The Lion King," which celebrated its 30th anniversary in theaters this year, and New Found Glory, a melodic punk band formed in 1997 and one of Florida's most popular bands, performed a cover of "Feel the Love" from "The Lion King.
