In "Snowflakes," Ornette performed for the first time on trumpet and violin, which he had mastered during his absence. In the ballad-like "Morning Song," the alto saxophone, now with an added beauty to its tone, emitted a bewitching atmosphere. In a turnaround, "The Riddle" was an intense and fiery performance. Eisenson's elaborate arco bass and Moffett's dynamic drums, which create free space, are also wonderful.
