Bruce Rioux was born in Paris and raised in Montaure. For this album, he has selected 200 years of French keyboard music, including Rameau, Ravel, and Alkan, to honor his own French roots. The Arcand piece is a new recording not in the Deutsche Grammophon catalog. Prior to its worldwide release, this album will be released in Japan in advance of its visit to Japan.
