This is the New York club gig that marked the peak of the supreme trio of Scott Ruffalo, the genius bassist who died 11 days after this show, and Paul Motian, the drummer who later played with Keith Jarrett. The album was remastered in 2023 from the original U.S. analog masters at 192khz/24bit. The SACD-SHM of the same work was also released at the same time. Japanese translation of the liner notes of the original LP is included.
