Waltz for Debby," the best-selling jazz disc in Japan, was certified as an RIAJ Gold Disc in 2016 and continues to be loved across generations. Sunday at the Village Vanguard" and the late classic "You Must Believe in Spring," which were recorded on the same day, are also released with the latest remastered recordings. Waltz for Debby" and "You Must Believe in Spring" were recorded live at the same location on the same day. This is the New York club gig that marked the peak of the supreme trio of Scott Ruffalo, the genius bassist who died 11 days after this show, and Paul Motian, the drummer who later played with Keith Jarrett. The album was remastered in 2023 from the original U.S. analog masters at 192khz/24bit. The SACD-SHM of the same work was also released at the same time. Japanese translation of the liner notes of the original LP is included. The Hi-Res CD Masterpieces Series is a high-quality CD (UHQCD) that can be played on all CD players (44.1kHz/16bit).*When using MQA-compatible equipment, you can playback the original master in high-resolution quality.
