[20 years after Scholte's death, 105 years after his birth, 8 memorial encore press 50W] Mahler's No. 3 is a symphony on the theme of nature, expressing throughout its entirety the gradual process of development from a time when there was still no life, through the birth of plants, animals, and humans, to the heavenly world. It is said that nature inspired Steinbach, who was on his annual summer retreat at the time of composition. Scholtei brings out a brilliant and brilliant sound from the London Symphony Orchestra, which skillfully recreates this great work with fluidity and dramatic expression, and the soloists and chorus are also in fine voice.
