This album, which was recorded in 2000 while reinterpreting his past works, is now finally being released as a stand-alone album! Each studio album is now available as a stand-alone album, using the latest remastered sound sources from 2021, which were included in "Brilliant Adventure [1992-2001]", the fifth box set that compiles the trajectory of David Bowie's career. This album is a legendary unreleased album that has been passed down to the fans as "Legendary Unreleased Album".The album "Toys" was first released to the world in the "Brilliant Adventure" box set, and it has excited fans all over the world. This album, recorded in 2000 while reinterpreting and reworking his past work, is now being released as a stand-alone album. Toy" was recorded after the band's triumphant return to Glastonbury in 2000. After the highly successful Glastonbury show, Bowie entered the studio with touring members Mark Prati, Sterling Campbell, Gail Ann Dorsey, Earl Slick, and others to record new interpretations of the songs he first recorded between 1964 and 1971. Bowie went into the studio. Bowie adopted what he called "old school" recording techniques, recording live with the entire band and selecting the best takes for a "surprise" release of the album as soon as possible, an astonishingly prescient plan.Unfortunately, in 2001, the "surprise release" release format/concept and the technology to support it had not yet been established, making it impossible to immediately release the "Toy" album to fans as Bowie had hoped. So Bowie looked further ahead and finished several new songs that were created during the same sessions.
